Last week, our team traded a few indie Aussie games for English ones from Game Dev Local, our partner for our fourth iteration of the Games Exchange! This time around, we featured 10 different games in total, sharing with each other what our respective games scenes had to offer.
Here’s the lineup of Aussie and English games we showcased:

English Games

Over in Birmingham, Game Dev Local exhibited 5 incredible Aussie games at To The Moon Expo for two days. In Sydney, we tookover Redfern Community Center for a night! After a quick introduction as to what the games exchange is about and who was involved, we invited attendees to try out the games we had received, as well as sample British snacks! Christine prepared a lovely spread of English high tea, scones and other small bites, juxtaposed by some sprinkling of British Punk skewers and decoration. Obviously, our team had a lot of fun with the food and drinks!

Here’s some more photos from both events!

Finally, we’d like to thank Screen Australia for their support via the Games Festivals and Events Fund, Screen NSW for their support via the Industry Development Program, and IGEA for their support that made it possible to host the Games Exchange at the Redfern community center! Over in the UK, we’d like to thank Game Dev Local and To the Moon Expo for partnering with us and making this exchange possible!
Thank you for dropping by to our last Games Exchange for 2025! We’ll be running WIP Night soon, in December! So stay tuned for more future gamedev events in Sydney!
