Description
After a researcher is reported missing, you are tasked with replacing them, arriving by boat to an empty shack by the island's beach. Guided only by mysterious notes coming from the fax machine, photograph and identify birds on the island, retracing bits and pieces of the explorer's research. Slowly, uncover more of the island's history, as well as what exactly happened to the researcher before them.
History
We’re a small indie studio based in Sydney, Australia. There’s currently just two of us on the team, with a third joining us soon! We’ve been working in games consulting for over a decade, and The Birdwatcher’s Journal is our first major title. Working on a breadth of projects has allowed us to learn a lot, as well as keep our studio afloat. We’re avid birdwatchers ourselves, and our birding adventures in Australia and beyond inspired us to make this game. Birdwatching in real life is like a puzzle, afterall!
